You have about 86 billion neurons, and none of them is smart on its own. They all check what their neighbors are telling them and decide whether to fire. Intelligence isn't in any single neuron, it's in how they're wired together.

The same is true for humans: Whether we connect through email, Slack channels, social media, or live, intelligence emerges from our interactions, and our whole cultures depend on how we're connected, not just who's in them.

Humanity is one giant brain, and you're a neuron in it, taking in information, processing it, and firing a signal on to whoever's listening next. That's the idea behind this design, from the article You're a Neuron.
